Job Details
Staff Accountant:
The Staff Accountant will serve as a key member of the Finance team under the supervision of the CFO. Responsibilities will include preparing monthly grant reports, grant & contract invoices, managing accounts receivable & accounts payable.
- Accurate and timely reconciliation of the balance sheet and all additional financial data
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements
- Assist with accounts payable and W-9 forms
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Review monthly Grant invoices
- Prepare annual departmental budget, monitor budget vs actuals, enter program budgets into accounting system
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Prefer 2 or more years’ experience
- Non-profit Accounting experience
- Proficient with Accounting software & Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
