We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Structural Engineer to join our team in the engineering, design and construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to bring your specialized skills to bear in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and inspection of various structural systems for our portfolio of industrial projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of building codes and regulations, structural design principles, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
As a Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and analyzing structural systems for buildings, including steel structures, foundations, masonry, and concrete.
2. Conducting forensic analysis to determine the causes of structural failures and recommending corrective actions.
3. Utilizing computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and STAAD for designing and drafting.
4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
5. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the structural integrity of our properties.
6. Designing and analyzing industrial building designs and pipe racks.
7. Performing load bearing calculations and assessments.
8. Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
9. Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Structural Engineer position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 5 to 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on structural design, building codes, and forensic analysis for the industrial industry.
3. Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure is required.
4. Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and STAAD.
5. Extensive experience in designing steel structures, foundations, masonry, and concrete.
6. Familiarity with industrial building design and pipe racks.
7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct forensic analysis of structural failures.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
