We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Superintendent Healthcare to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare construction field, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of healthcare construction projects, from ground-up builds to renovations and expansions. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of healthcare construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including OSHA, ADA, and Joint Commission requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, including negotiating contracts and resolving disputes.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure that timelines and budgets are met.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to keep them informed of project status and address any concerns or issues that arise.
- Ensure that all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including mentoring and training junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare construction, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare construction regulations and standards, including OSHA, ADA, and Joint Commission requirements.
- Experience managing subcontractors and vendors, including negotiating contracts and resolving disputes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
