Responsibilities
As a Permanent Supply Chain Manager, your responsibilities will include
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aimed at promoting operational efficiency and business growth.
- Oversee and manage the entire supply chain operations, including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and inventory control.
- Utilize ERP systems, preferably Oracle, to automate and streamline supply chain processes.
- Coordinate with various departments to forecast demand and ensure the availability of products when needed.
- Identify potential bottlenecks in the supply chain process and devise effective solutions.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and optimal cost-efficiency.
- Implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stock holding costs and maximize stock control.
- Conduct regular performance analysis to assess the effectiveness of implemented supply chain strategies.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in supply chain management to drive continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role, with proven experience in inventory management and ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving a common goal.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems for supply chain management.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best terms from suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
