Job Details
Essential Functions:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Ensure timely and accurate filings of all tax returns and compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize tax benefits for clients.
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies for clients, taking into consideration their unique financial goals and circumstances.
- Provide expert advice on tax implications of various business decisions, transactions, and investments.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and minimize tax liabilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor in all tax matters.
- Proactively communicate with clients to understand their tax needs, address concerns, and provide tailored solutions.
- Assist clients in resolving tax disputes, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities.
You should know some of the following:
- CPA or EA
- Federal, State and Local tax
- Public Accounting or Tax Law Firm experience
