Requirements
- Must have industry specific experience - highway/roadwork traffic control
- Must have supervisory experience in traffic control (2 years preferably)
- Strong leadership and people skills
- Understanding of how to run a branch - Able to coordinate projects, equipment and staff, time sheets, etc.
- Industry contacts if possible- customers you can bring with you
- Ensuring quality control
- Direct supervision of Superintendent
- Project management, profitability, and ticket/quantity review
- Oversee scheduling and dispatch of crews
- Logistics for job equipment
- Overseeing sign shop and inventory control
- Maintain branch backlog of all projects
- Execution of company policies and procedures particularly related to HR, safety and quality control
- Assist in hiring, discipline, counseling, and termination of branch employees
- Serve a hands-on role in every aspect of construction management including completing projects by completion dates
- Oversight of leadership development at their assigned office and assisting with implantation within the company
- Oversight of all branch operations
- Seek out new customers and report weekly business development progress
