Experience in design involving interstates and interchanges, urban roadways and bridges, site grading, stormwater management, hydrology and hydraulics, storm drainage systems, culverts, erosion control, and site plan preparation.

Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Transportation Engineer to join our team in the Engineering industry. As a Permanent Transportation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and managing transportation projects, including interstates, interchanges, roadways, bridges, site grading, stormwater, hydrology, hydraulics, storm drainage, culverts, erosion control, Civil 3D, and MicroStation. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other engineers to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage transportation projects, including interstates, interchanges, roadways, bridges, site grading, stormwater, hydrology, hydraulics, storm drainage, culverts, and erosion control.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for transportation projects.
- Prepare project plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Analyze and interpret engineering data to make sound engineering decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other engineers to ensure successful project completion.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Strong knowledge of interstates, interchanges, roadways, bridges, site grading, stormwater, hydrology, hydraulics, storm drainage, culverts, erosion control, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Experience with AutoCAD and other engineering software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
