Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager - Utilities (Civil or Environmental Engineering Degree) to join our dynamic construction team. As a Utilities Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the water and wastewater systems, including the design, construction, and maintenance of pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that all utilities are installed and maintained to the highest standards, and that all regulatory requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the construction of water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for new projects.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Manage and maintain the water and wastewater systems, including monitoring water quality, flow rates, and pressure levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with the utilities systems.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of the utilities systems.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure that all utilities are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other members of the team.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in utilities engineering and incorporate new technologies and techniques into the design and construction of utilities systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in utilities engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater systems.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including design, construction, and maintenance.
- Experience with water and wastewater modeling software, such as WaterCAD and SewerCAD.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
