Job Summary
The Medical Laboratory Scientist is accountable for providing accurate and timely results to physicians, and performing various chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests on patient/resident specimens to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training is required
Certification, Licensure, Registration
- Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist from NCA or ASCP preferred
Work Schedule
- Part Time, Monday-Friday
- 48 hours per 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
