Average Annual Total Compensation $30,480. (Please note that this is an estimate and not a guaranteed hourly wage or incentive compensation.)
As a Customer Account Advisor at Aaron's, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by helping them with payment collections and lease agreement renewals. You'll build relationships with customers over the phone and in person, guiding them towards ownership of the products they desire. To be successful in this role, you need to have strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to handle difficult conversations. Multitasking and organizational skills are also important.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing customer accounts, updating information, and scheduling payment appointments.
- Contacting customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, both through home visits and over the phone.
- Explaining the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments to customers.
- Assisting the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
- Supporting the sales team when necessary.
- Handling merchandise returns and deliveries.
- Maintaining and operating company vehicles.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license (age requirement may vary for Canadian candidates).
- Ability to meet DOT requirements for certification in required states (United States).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts between 8 am and 9 pm.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and up to 300 lbs. with a dolly.
- Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High energy and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient computer skills.
