Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and safe for customers
  • Utilize Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
  • Perform preventative maintenance repairs such as tire replacement or rotation, vehicle component lubrication and replacement, electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance
  • Engage in ongoing training and coaching to enhance your skills
  • Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair a plus
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Problem-solving skills and comfort using tools
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Basic computer skills
