What you will be doing
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Everbridge and xMatters platforms within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of incident management processes, strong technical proficiency in Everbridge and xMatters tools, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Administration and Configuration: Manage the configuration, customization, and administration of the Everbridge and xMatters platforms to meet the organization's needs. This includes setting up user accounts, defining escalation policies, configuring notification templates, and integrating with other IT systems.
Incident Management Support: Work closely with the incident management team to ensure seamless integration of Everbridge and xMatters into incident response processes. Provide support during critical incidents by initiating notifications, escalating alerts, and assisting with communication coordination.
Platform Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and reliability of the Everbridge and xMatters platforms. Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing any issues that may arise.
Optimization and Best Practices: Continuously evaluate and optimize the configuration and usage of Everbridge and xMatters to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies related to incident management and communication tools.
Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators on how to effectively use Everbridge and xMatters. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including user guides, standard operating procedures, and system configurations.
Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor relationships with Everbridge and xMatters. Coordinate with vendors to address support issues, escalate technical challenges, and advocate for product enhancements based on organizational requirements.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate would have experience with the following:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant experience.
Proven experience administering Everbridge and/or xMatters platforms in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of incident management processes and best practices.
Technical proficiency in configuring and customizing Everbridge and xMatters tools, including workflow automation and integration capabilities.
Familiarity with ITIL framework and principles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Added bonus if you have:
Experience with Everbridge and xMatters administration or related technologies.
Major Incident Management experience
Internal and External stakeholder Communication.
