Responsibilities:

- Promote a culture of engineering excellence, encouraging the reuse and sharing of solutions.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization and influence decision-making.
- Provide guidance and expertise in a specific technology domain, shaping use cases and implementations.
- Mentor and recruit talented individuals to strengthen Capital One's technology workforce.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud native applications and distributed computing is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Over 9 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience designing cloud native applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience in cloud resiliency and distributed computing.

Salary Range:
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $269,400 - $307,500 for Distinguished Engineer.
San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $285,400 - $325,700 for Distinguished Engineer.
