We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. As part of our Controller's department, you will work collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Your role will involve optimizing reporting systems, analyzing audited statements and management reports, as well as coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Our Management, Statutory Audited, and Regulatory Reporting team is part of MassMutual's Corporate Finance Organization. We value accountability, collaboration, and inclusivity. Your Impact
Translate regulatory reporting requirements into audited statement reports for Senior Management, External Auditors, Regulatory bodies, and the Board of Directors
Ensure compliance by monitoring and documenting key controls and filings
Supervise offshore team to prepare financial reports for management review
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
Maximize the value of reports and provide insightful analysis
Stay updated on accounting policies, competitive landscape, and emerging trends
Lead and participate in cross-functional projects
Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
6 years of experience with audited and/or regulatory statements
3 years of GAAP reporting in life insurance companies
3 years of financial analysis and reporting experience
3 years of experience with general ledger reporting cubes and warehouses
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification
Knowledge of advanced insurance and investment statutory accounting principles
Experience with report creation and analytics tools
Skilled in data validation and quality assurance
Strong customer focus, adaptability, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills
Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
