SUMMARY:
Anticipated openings for HCM Peer Coach positions, with an emphasis on working with Special Services. Coaches provide peer observation, feedback, and coaching for tenured staff.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Mobility to work in an office or classroom setting, use standard equipment and stamina to stand for extended periods of time; strength to lift and carry up to 20 pounds; vision to read printed materials and computer screens; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.

Work is performed in an office or classroom setting.
Occasional travel required to locations throughout the District.

- Conduct coaching cycles, which include pre and post meetings
- Support teachers in goal setting and reflection meetings
- Attend bi-monthly peer coach meetings
- Participate in Collaborative Meetings
- Attend training and staff development required for the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Seven years teaching experience
- State of MN Licensure in field of expertise
- Up to a five-year commitment to the position
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge and application of instructional and classroom management best practices
- Willingness and ability to work closely with staff on professional growth
