Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack - Job Opportunity at Capital One

What You'll Do:
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and a team of experienced developers to create solutions that meet regulatory needs
- Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in technology communities
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially
- Utilize a variety of programming languages, databases, and cloud tools to develop innovative solutions

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- 7 years of experience in Python, NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, Java, or Go
- 4 years of experience in open source frameworks
- 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
- 2 years of experience with search platforms like OpenSearch or ElasticSearch
- 2 years of experience in Agile practices
- 1 years of people management experience

Salary Information (New York City - Hybrid On-Site):
- Lead Software Engineer: $197,400 - $225,300 per year

Please note that salaries for other locations will vary and will be reflected in your offer letter.
