Job Title: Mainframe Engineer

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, modify, and implement computer applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
- Work with technologies such as COBOL, MVS, ISPF, FileAid, File Manager, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
- Provide on-call support approximately once every 4 weeks.
- Write, design, code, test, implement, and debug programs following corporate requirements and standards.
- Conduct design and code reviews.
- Test and validate applications, and document programming.
- Develop software components following established process guidelines.
- Coordinate software installation and monitor implementation process.
- Monitor system performance trends and identify potential issues.
- Suggest opportunities for improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply).

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in IBM mainframe, DB2, SQL, or JCL.
- 1 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- 5 years of development experience with COBOL.
- 5 years of experience with Financial Services clients.
- 5 years of experience with JCL and VSAM.
- 3 years of experience in open source frameworks.
- 5 years of experience with Banking Services.
- 4 years of experience with vendor management.

Salary Information:
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role in New York City are $161,900 - $184,800 for Senior Software Engineer. For candidates hired to work in other locations, the salary will be based on the associated pay range for that location.
