Manager, Software Engineering - Full Stack (Go, Python, Site Reliability Engineering)

As a Manager Software Engineer at Capital One, you will play a key role in driving transformation within our organization.

About The Team:
The EMP (Enterprise Model Platform) SRE team is responsible for building, maintaining, and governing the model development Kubernetes fleet. This team is the foundation of the ML (Machine Learning) platform at Capital One.

What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of developers in creating solutions that meet regulatory needs for the company.
- Stay up-to-date with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor other members of the engineering community.
- Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.
- Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as various cloud services.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing.
- At least 2 years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree.
- 7 years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
- 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
- 4 years of experience in open-source frameworks.
- 5 years of people management experience.
- 2 years of experience in Agile practices.
