About the role:
As a Software Test Analyst, you’ll play a key role in the development of fintech products that are changing the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve consulting on software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.
About the Team:
You will be working with an excited, highly motivated, and cross functional scrum team, currently working on a new application that will greatly assist FIS sales and implementations in the financial sector. The team uses SAFE agile practices and works with additional team to complete the work.
What you will be doing:
• Automated Testing – We use SAFAL but may also look at Selenium in the future. Experience in both will be a bonus. Creation and execution of automated test scripts for work done in a sprint
• Manual Testing – Where automation may not apply, manual testing will be needed. We require someone with an ability to think of scenarios that should be tested
• Test Case Creation and Execution – Create test cases for each story that cover the full functionality. Execution of those test cases during the sprint and during regression
• Regression Testing – Regression testing of each release. This involves executing test cases and following a testing plan
• Effective Communication with the Team – Test cases should be created along with input from the team. Effective communication will be required to ensure test cases have full coverage
• Documentation – Test cases will need their results documented, along with screenshots.
What you will need:
• Knowledge of application development, software testing and quality management.
• Automated Test experience (we use SAFAL.)
• Ability to write and manipulate Excel scripts
• Experience with primary database engines and the ability to write data validation and troubleshooting queries.
• Expertise in at least one object-oriented language.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
