JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Mobile Strategy will execute high profile, high intensity, short duration and long-range projects to evolve the business strategy to accelerate growth in mobile and wireless connectivity.
This position interfaces with internal organizations with a cooperative approach, gathers and synthesizes relevant data, driving analyses of ambiguous problems and supporting it with key insights developed through analysis and advanced financial modelling.
The role is an individual contributor and team leader expected to craft executive presentations and be a master story teller, conveying complex technology concepts into actionable next steps for executive approval.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Develop executive level deliverables for strategy projects through analytics, benchmarking, trends, regulatory, customer insights, competitive landscape and canvasing of related ecosystems.
Develop an effective leadership team and assists them with developing their direct reports to drive a high performance culture.
Build robust and easy-to-digest financial models with multiple scenarios used for evaluating targets and making other strategy decisions.
Provide strategy support, including research activities and analysis focusing on mobile, wireless and connectivity.
Research new technologies and industry trends to better understand key market participants, business models, and emerging connectivity businesses.
Establish trusted relationships with internal cross-functional departments (e.g., Product, Wireless Technology, Marketing, Finance, Engineering) to collaborate on strategic projects.
Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Advanced analytical skills and advanced Excel modeling expertise
Demonstrated mastery of PowerPoint and ability to tell a story clearly and concisely
Ability to operate effectively with minimal oversight
Ability to obtain and synthesize information
Ability to research and uncover insights from various sources
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner with all levels of management and company personnel
Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively, showing judgment and initiative to meet deadlines
Effective cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to overcome organizational obstacles, with the ability to make decisions and work collaboratively with others to solve problems
Ability to think strategically with a fundamental understanding of cable and telecommunications products and services, including familiarity with cable industry trends and competitors

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a Creative major
JD, MBA or Master’s Degree in Business or Technology

10 years of Banking, Consulting, or in-house Strategy/Development experience
10 years of Business Operations Analysis experience
10 years of Telecom experience (in-depth knowledge of Internet, Wireless, and Mobile)
7 years of Management experience
