Position Purpose: We are looking for someone who can oversee and manage our tax functions. This includes handling financial accounting and reporting, tax audits, and tax research and planning.
Here are some of the key responsibilities:
Manage the preparation and review of tax provision calculations
Research complex tax issues and provide tax planning recommendations
Participate in M&A projects and help with tax integration
Assist with federal and state tax audits
Stay up-to-date with new tax laws and developments
Ensure timely and accurate analysis of tax accounts
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
At least 7 years of experience in public accounting or private industry
Extensive knowledge of tax accounting standards
Strong technical knowledge and project management skills
License/Certification: CPA preferred
