Senior Software Engineer, Android

Responsibilities:

Develop Android applications that align with our product strategy and follow engineering best practices

Collaborate with UX/UI designers, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners to create engaging and high-performing customer experiences

Participate in agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work

Actively contribute to the mobile development community and stay updated on industry trends and technologies

Mentor junior team members and engage with developers from other disciplines

Lead the delivery of major components in collaboration with Senior Engineers and Architects

Share best practices and continuously improve processes within the team

Identify and overcome technical obstacles through collaboration and innovative solutions

Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)

Minimum of 2 years of experience building Android applications

Minimum of 2 years of experience with Kotlin

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years of experience building Android applications

3 years of experience with Kotlin

1 years of experience with open-source frameworks

1 years of experience with Agile practices

Please Note: This job posting is only for candidates in the specified location. The salary range for this role is $161,900 - $184,800 for Senior Software Engineers in New York City (Hybrid On-Site). Candidates in other locations may have different salary ranges which will be specified in their offer letter.
