Senior Software Engineer, DevOps

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and transformation within Capital One.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.

Stay current with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in tech communities, and mentor other engineers.

Work with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.

Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go, along with Docker, Kubernetes, and other tools, to build and manage our systems.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering.

Minimum 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Minimum 2 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of experience with Terraform or Ansible.

2 years of experience with Docker or Kubernetes.

2 years of coding and scripting experience (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, or Ruby).

2 years of experience working with Agile Development Practices.

Salary Information:

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role, based on location, are as follows:

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $161,900 - $184,800 for Senior Software Engineer

San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $171,500 - $195,800 for Senior Software Engineer

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours worked.
