Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineers II - Capital Market Operations Development in Jacksonville, FL to develop c core versions of software applications for sale to external clients, utilizing technologies such as C#, .Net framework, MS SQL, and Angular. Identify client requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and necessary modifications. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Collaborate with development groups, utilizing tools including Azure DevOps, to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Work on excel add-in for bulk loading data and running the reports by creating an application using Visual Studio Office tools (VSTO) in MS Excel. Enhance the excel add-in to use REST API to be used over the internet. Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. Participate in design and implementation discussions to upgrade the licensing application used for the product, to eliminate legacy code and use newer technologies; Use newer frameworks and licensing packages including Entity Framework and Standard Licensing and to make the licensing application further secure and independent of older technologies and dependencies. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Develop or execute project plans and schedules, using tools including Agile project management frameworks, and document work and results. Lead team being a scrum master to ensure projects are executed and completed. Train and guide junior developers on the application, code architecture and the functionality of the application. Perform code reviews to maintain the code quality and the ensuring the code is efficient. Research and provide a proof of concept on tools using Open AI which could be used to automate some processes and remove redundancies. Use visual studio extensions like Copilot to speed up the coding process and help in the conversion of some

legacy application to newer technologies. Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups. Work closely with the accounting engine back-end team to analyze all client requirements and implementation of the same to match data as expected by the client. Collaborate with the customer experience group to troubleshoot and resolve any client issues. Work with clients directly to resolve support issues. Train and communicate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams on systems application.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: facilitating Agile development processes, leading teams, and ensuring adherence to Agile principles; developing applications using Windows Forms, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services; working with complex code architectures and back-end technologies including C# and .NET Framework; managing database operations, implementing APIs, managing user authentication and authorization, and performing complex calculations; working with SQL to optimize database queries, handle transactions, and manage large volumes of data; ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within database operations to optimize performance for a client; utilizing web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to serve as the foundation for modern web development for creating visually appealing web pages and developing interactive and dynamic features; worked with front-end frameworks including Angular to build responsive and feature-rich user interface; working with RESTful APIs and AJAX to ensure seamless communication between clients and servers; guaranteeing optimal user experiences across diverse devices and platforms through browser compatibility, responsive design principles, and accessibility standards; and working with back-office operations and complex financial/ stock market instruments including equities, fixed income, options, and complex credit derivatives In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree foreign equivalent in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
