What you will be doing:
Organization Optimization
• Lead the design, development, and execution of organization optimization to deliver on program goals. Work in conjunction with Organization Development Leader to ensure connection to broader organization design and development priorities and to ensure connecting to our ongoing organization design efforts.
• Oversee and manage consultants selected and hold them accountable to all deliverables.
• Serve as a liaison with executives and other stakeholders ensuring that organizational goals are met.
• Establish clear success measures and metrics for program. Partner with TPO Analytics Team on dashboard creation and format.
• Establish clear deadline on cost takeout actions/phases, in conjunction with Finance
• Monitor progress and provide status reports for leadership and stakeholders/OLT.
• Lead workstreams across multiple functions for assigned transformation projects.
• Build alignment of key stakeholders, especially Finance.
• Manage data, provide insights, and deliver analytics to highlight key issues and inform the project team where potential areas of improvement exist or progress are being made.
• Manage, report on and monitor exec headcount growth
• Participate in assessments and gap analyses, etc. aligned to transformation work.
• Establish, assign, and measure targets for various business groups.
• Own and lead specific activity of tiers and spans review and correction. Create methodology to sustain.
• Identify and resolve / escalate issues.
• Partner with OLT, Total Rewards and Talent teams to prioritize reinvestment opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, building relationships and achieving results without a direct reporting relationship.
• Manage, communicate with, and engage project team on a frequent basis.
Executive Succession
• Work with talent and talent acquisition to enhance and define process for exec succession, selection and slating that can be institutionalized and scaled for SVP and EVP roles.
• Define/rescope and (re)launch the process, governance and reporting for each stage of succession planning:
o Identifying critical roles. Identify which roles we should target first and for future.
o Building leader success profiles. Describe the talent composition required for each critical role now and according to future need.
o Nominating high potential talent. Identify and select candidates for critical roles by creating a bench for each position (internal and external as required).
o Assessing development needs. Summarize the talent profile of each succession candidates and identify gaps to target through development.
o Developing talent. Outline or update development plans for each candidate and track recommended and completed development activities.
o Measuring progress. Create and update the scorecard, tracking various indicators of improved succession planning outcomes.
What you bring:
• Typically requires a minimum of ten plus years of experience in human resources or related discipline.
• Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations without damaging the relationship.
• Expected to be primary mentor for others on staff and is a role model for rest of team. Ability to provide communication on issues or complex information to a wide audience based on knowledge.
• Participates as a senior member in strategic planning and direction.
• Requires a strong understanding of organizational health and succession planning with business skills, industry knowledge, long-term vision, and executive presence.
• In-depth knowledge of Worldpay organization structure.
• Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Communicates ideas or position on a variety of issues in a clear, concise, and professional manner to colleagues at all levels.
• Requires strong leadership, organizational, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated skill in productivity, planning, and workload management.
• Requires effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
