Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Type: Full-time

Type of Hire: Experienced (relevant combination of work and education)

Travel Percentage: 1-5%

Job Description:

  • Lead meetings with hiring managers to support the recruitment process for various job openings within FIS, such as Sales, Software Support, Technology, Marketing, Product Management, Training, Finance, Clerical, and Customer Service.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates to ensure that only qualified and interested individuals are considered for positions.
  • Guide hiring managers through the interview, selection, reference, and offer stages.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by effectively presenting the opportunity and the company, coordinating interviews, collecting feedback, making recommendations, and managing the offer process.
  • Track progress on requisitions and candidates using our recruiting system.
  • Stay updated on market trends and provide relevant market intelligence.
  • Contribute to special projects aimed at improving the overall functionality of the recruiting organization.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Experience in sourcing candidates through various channels, including direct, internet, and networking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, recruiting, and HRIS software.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work under minimal supervision, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, clients, and the public.

FIS Job Level Description:

This is a career-level professional role. The Talent Acquisition Specialist generally works on multiple requisitions (typically 30 or more) of moderate complexity. The role involves handling technical requisitions and also contributing to small projects related to Talent Acquisition outside of general recruiting duties. The Specialist works under general supervision, with some latitude for independent judgment, and may seek consultation from senior peers on more complex requisitions or projects. The role requires a moderate level of skills with a high level of proficiency. It typically necessitates at least five years of successful recruiting experience.
