- Supervise teams in safe and effective transportation procedures, to ensure compliance with law, customer policy, and company goals.
- Provide effective leadership and foster professional attitudes in employees.
- Develop, organize, and conduct training classes in all areas of training designed to provide fully qualified crews and other functions involved in operations.
- Report all accidents immediately according to company policy and procedures.
- Notify maintenance immediately of mechanical failure, and follow company protocol for safety deficiencies, or other incidents.
- Maintain documents and submit payroll in a timely manner.
- Maintain documents and submit invoices to Location Manager for customer invoicing.
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge and experience working with computers and programs (i.e. Microsoft Suite, etc.)
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and maintain a fitness for duty physical
- An excellent driving record in compliance with Company standards
- Proficient in verbal and written communication
- Ability to interact with passengers, customers, and employees in a positive and proper manner
- Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
