Position : Material Handler

Location : Essex, VT or Winooski

Skills and Abilities :

• Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook), Database / Inventory Management Systems.
• Forklift Experience : Preferred, or a willingness and ability to learn.
• Communication : Efficient and effective communication skills.
• Detail-oriented : Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Warehouse Operations : Loading / unloading trucks, stocking items, and wrapping finished goods.
• Inventory Management : Safely handling and storing materials, conducting regular audits.
• Shipping and Receiving : Verifying paperwork and maintaining records.
• Production Support : Moving components to ensure production lines have necessary materials.
• Continuous Improvement : Creatively seeking ways to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost procedures.

Physical Requirements :

• Constant movement throughout the facility.
• Lifting : Frequently moving items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Visual Acuity : Reading and following instructions.
