The Escrow Officer will be responsible for managing the escrow process from start to finish, ensuring all transactions comply with legal requirements and company policies. The successful candidate will work closely with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to coordinate and finalize real estate transactions efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
- Open and manage escrow accounts, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and accurate
- Review purchase agreements, contracts, and other related documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Prepare and distribute escrow instructions, amendments, and other necessary documents
- Coordinate the signing and notarization of documents with buyers, sellers, and agents
- Handle funds, including deposits, payments, and disbursements, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and balanced
- Communicate with all parties involved in the transaction to provide updates, answer questions, and resolve any issues
- Conduct thorough final reviews of documents and accounts to ensure all conditions are met before closing
- Facilitate the closing process, ensuring a smooth and timely completion of the transaction
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all escrow transactions
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in escrow, real estate, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Escrow Officer or in a similar role within the real estate industry
- Strong knowledge of escrow processes, real estate transactions, and applicable laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Notary public certification is preferred
