About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and personable individual to join our team as a Hostess at our esteemed restaurant. As a Hostess, you will play a crucial role in welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for all our patrons. Your ability to project warmth, professionalism, and efficiency will be instrumental in setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

· Answer phones courteously and professionally, taking reservations and providing accurate wait times

· Efficiently manage reservations, ensuring accurate seating arrangements and accommodating special requests

· Seamlessly handle take-out orders, entering them into the POS system and communicating order details to the kitchen

· Greet and welcome guests warmly, creating a positive first impression

· Effectively manage the floor plan, seating guests in a timely manner while maintaining a comfortable dining atmosphere

· Control the pacing of seating to ensure a smooth flow of guests and avoid overcrowding

· Maintain a clean and organized guest waiting area

· Handle customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally

· Work as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service throughout the restaurant

Qualifications

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality

· Ability to project a friendly and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment

· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

· Proficient in utilizing POS systems and reservation software

· Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

· Ability to stand for extended periods and walk for long distances

· Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing up to 50 pounds
