Summary
As an employee of JOH, this person is responsible for acting in accordance with the Company’s goals, objectives, policies, and procedures. The Technology Support Technician should develop positive working relationships, be willing to help principals, customers, and JOH associates, and always project a professional image. Supervisory Responsibilities: None
RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide user support and customer service on company computers, applications, and platforms; to troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, text message & E-Mail
- Log all help desk interactions
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Research questions using available information resources
- Advise user on appropriate action
- Follow standard help desk procedures
- Administer help desk software
- Work with IT staff and redirect problems to the appropriate resource
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
- Set up new user workstations with standard software build

Technical Skills
- A solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- An understanding of administering Microsoft 365 including One Drive, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Basic understand in managing and maintaining Active Directory environments, including user account creation, modification, and deletion
- Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
PERFORMANCE AND/OR EDUCATION PREREQUISITES
College degree or equivalent; a strong interest in technology operations; excellent people skills;
A certification or equivalent is strongly encouraged, 1-3 years of experience required.
