Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health RN to join our client. The hospital is a 367-bed acute care facility. As a Behavioral Health RN, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with behavioral health needs. Your role will involve implementing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and offering guidance to promote positive mental health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' behavioral health needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide counseling and therapy sessions to individuals or groups
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Educate clients and their families on coping strategies and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following experience:
- Experience working with children, toddlers, and individuals of all ages
- Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols
- Familiarity with neonatal ventilator support
- Proficiency in specimen collection processing techniques
- Understanding of ICD-10 coding system
- Ability to phlebotomize for diagnostic testing purposes
- Familiarity with mammography procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid certification or licensure as a Behavioral Health Professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
