Are you a self-starter with strong communication skills, who enjoys working in a team environment with a passion for learning? Consider joining our team as an Internal National Sales Support Specialist within our continuously growing John Hancock Insurance Division. The primary responsibility for this role is to provide industry-leading pre-sales support to all sources of business. You would be a primary point of contact and resource for our sellers on a variety of topics relating to the life insurance sales process, including product information, case design, illustrations, and assistance with any marketing or new business and underwriting needs.

  • Demonstrate an innovative mindset to provide solutions, illustrations, and case designs to help win the sale.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including, producers, back offices, John Hancock wholesalers, and internal counterparts.

  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment to help drive sales.

  • Excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while exhibiting a professional manner.

  • Deliver trusted, professional, and reliable service to financial professionals.

  • Actively demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help support the sales process.

  • Strengthen the John Hancock brand in the marketplace.

  • Possess the ability to work in a team environment, as well as being able to resolve issues accurately and independently.

Requirements:

  • A four-year college degree.

  • FINRA SIE, Series 6, 63, and State Insurance Licenses highly preferred (required within 4 months of hire). Must pass at least one FINRA exam within the first 10 weeks of hire.

  • Excellent phone demeanor, strong sales acumen, and customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of financial services is a plus!
