About the Role:
As a Product Research Specialist, your expertise in research methodologies and best practices will help create a superior user experience for workplace learning across the globe. Our flagship products unlock human potential using digital, social, and personalized learning, and help people work better together by building the human skills they need to thrive. As part of the Product Innovation Team, your insights will deepen our understanding of customers to drive innovation and critical business functions.
How you will make an impact:
- Develop a deep understanding of all customers in our product value chain.
- Use your expertise to recommend and execute appropriate research methodology and cadence.
- Collaborate with internal, cross functional stakeholders to create hypotheses and metrics, set research objectives, and reach unbiased conclusions.
- Conduct generative and evaluative research to guide product innovation.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
- Discover patterns and insights through moderated and unmoderated research, including surveys, field studies, and more.
- Identify and prioritize high-value improvements, enhancements, or roadblocks to the user experience. Conduct primary and secondary research to understand the competitive landscape and future of the industry.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of product developers, designers, and analysts to create a 360 view of the customer experience.
- Create compelling and easy-to-understand debriefs and documentation of your insights.
- Debrief stakeholders at all levels on research plans and findings.
What we look for (Required):
- 3 years of experience conducting primary research, using a variety of methodologies appropriate to objectives
- Proficiency with a diverse set of research tools; proven ability to learn new tools and applications
- Effective written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills; intellectual curiosity and objectivity
- Strong collaboration and teambuilding skills
- Ability to pivot and thrive in evolving, fast-paced environment
- Completion of Qualtrics and product research programs preferred
- Self-starter who can dig in even with limited details
- Manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects while maintaining attention to detail
- Data visualization skills a plus
