The Delegated Credentialing Manager is responsible for managing the delegated credentialing process for Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation. This position reports to the Senior Director of Centralized Credentialing and must be familiar with all administrative aspects of JHHSC centralized credentialing operations medical staff administration, and provider enrollment. Oversees and manages all day-to-day functions associated with the delegated credentialing process of practitioners within The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation. Ensures the credentialing process complies with organizational as well as NCQA accreditation standard, and Federal and State regulatory standards. Responsible for the audit and compliance of all credentialing files which includes management of credentialing information, coordination of correspondence and interaction with practitioners and external organizations. Serves as a liaison between JHHS CCO, JHHS affiliated hospitals and Medical Staff Administration offices, and JHCP. Designs solutions in current environment and creates and implements workflow processes as warranted. Responsible in conjunction with Senior Director, CCO Director of Operations and the CCO Project Manager for the development and maintenance of standardized data integrity rules and policies and procedures, which includes a cross representation of system users and understands the impact of business decisions made by the users.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.:
Certification as a Provder Credentialing Specialist (CPCS), Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or other related certification. If not currently certified, must obtain certification within one (1) year of hire.
Work Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years credentialing/credentialing systems and/or medical staff or other related leadership experience required particularly in a Central Verification Office (CVO), Medical Staff Office (MSO), health plan, or large health care organization.
