Location: 1800 Orleans Street, Baltimore, MD 21287

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Rotating Shift; 6:00am - 7:00pm

On-call / Weekends required

Non-Exempt

Positioon Summary:

Under direct supervision, receives cash, operates a standard cash register, makes required change, verifies tapes, gives customer receipts, makes adjustments for refunds or over rings, and balances cash drawer. Requires knowledge of daily menu and retail offerings and current pricing. Documents all changes, over rings and refunds. Greets customers and responds to customer concerns.

Education:

Work requires a level of math and English normally acquired through the completion of an eighth grade education. Work requires the ability to read and follow instructions.

Work Experience:

Requires one to three months of on-the-job orientation to acquire necessary familiarity with department policies and procedures, menu items and pricing. Previous cashier experience in a food service operation is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledgeable of operating cash register and of work station area. Knowledgeable of patient/customer satisfaction survey results.

Requires abilities and skills to interact effectively with all customers and to provide courteous services.
