Johnson Construction company is looking for an exceptionally experienced and skilled Bookkeeper/accountant. We are looking to contract a Bookkeeper for a fixed amount of time to come in, clean up our books, and get us on the right track. The contract is set for about 4 weeks, with a payment of $10,000 over this time. Additionally, upon successful and exceptional completion, a $3,000 bonus will be offered.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company
- Prepare and process journal entries, including debits and credits
- Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Perform other bookkeeping duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial analysis
- Familiarity with 10-key typing and data entry techniques
