Johnson Controls invites you to apply for a position in our internship program at our Grantley Plant located in York, PA. Our internship program is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives that are consistent with your career goals and current level of education. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.
Primary Duties:
- Document manufacturing processes– standard work instructions, route sheets, and QCI’s
- Design/build fixtures required for production using applicable design software
- Support production areas in solving production process problems
- Support continuous improvement activities in the plant
- Support the creation of Welding Procedure Specifications/Procedure Qualification Record
- Support and provide input for improvements to processes, methods, tooling, and production controls for new processes
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Pursuing a degree in Welding Engineering
- Overall GPA of 3.00 or above
- U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
