What you will do
Develop and implement detailed financial analysis and reporting by using knowledge of analytical measurements, concepts and effective methods of remedy to drive the highest level of performance through all levels of company vehicle operations that would maximize efficiency and profitability to the company.
Work with the Fleet Manager to set standards, identify targets, and develop/maintain policies to ensure continuing and increasing cost efficiencies, operational effectiveness, and safety
How you will do it:
Develops monthly measurable metrics on fleet performance
Works with Fleet Manager to develop and manage service level agreements with suppliers
Assist in managing vehicle specification, selection and procurement.
Audits and administers payment of multiple monthly fleet invoices. Ensure compliance with internal purchasing procedures and policies
Prepares cost analysis on an as-needed basis
Develops monthly consolidated fleet cost reporting of costs from multiple suppliers
Effectively develops tools, processes and reports to communicate, analyze and make effective recommendations in key areas of responsibility.
Identifies and executes cost saving and avoidance opportunities
Assist with integration of JCI Fleet policies/procedures to incorporate best practices and ensure cost effective and efficient fleet operations for the combined organization. Assist with identifying synergy opportunities and execution of new initiatives
As part of continuous improvement, identify areas and tasks which can be outsourced to key suppliers
Project leader for various transformation initiatives. Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement new programs/processes to drive increased value
Assist in upcoming Fleet RFPs specifically OEM and upfitter by completing all necessary analysis to award business
Excel proficient – complete data analytics for various fleet initiatives. Data to be presented in a way to drive swift decisions.
SME for the Non-Decal Company Car Program
SME for all Global Products employees/vehicles
SME for CEI Safety Program and JJ Keller DOT Program
New Routing Model in Metro Areas and develop data (as needed) to support workshop/pilot
As necessary, assist with telematics rollout and initiatives
What we look for:
Preferably, a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or finance. 3 - 5 years of experience in fleet management, finance, supply chain management and/or purchasing
Ability to perform in a diverse and matrix organization
Ability to work with all levels of management
Must be self motivated, reliable and eager to contribute to a dynamic fleet department
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective team building and collaboration skills and a positive attitude
Demonstrated experience in Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP and web based applications
