What you will do
You will learn about the dispatch operator role and standard operating procedures. The Emergency Dispatch Operator monitors system for alarm signals and responds to alarms using the information provided in instruction screens. Places necessary outgoing calls to verify an alarm, dispatches the proper authorities, and notifies responsible parties. Properly documents alarm handling procedures within the alarm screens. Completes alarm processing in accordance with departmental procedures. This position does not involve collections or sales.

As an Emergency Dispatch Operator, you will participate in a five-week training program. We provide a fun and interactive learning environment. You will learn about the role and the great opportunities within our company, performance standards, receive quality assurance and work through training module to be a successful Emergency Dispatch Operator.

What we look for
Required
Must be 18 years old
Multiple shifts available
Minimum of six (6) months of customer service experience; one year or more call center experience preferred
High school diploma or GED
Part-time and Full-time schedules
Training Start Date: 5/02
Class start date: 5/02
Time: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday with training being 5 weeks

Able to type between 20 - 25 wpm
Basic knowledge of computer applications
Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Successfully graduating from your training program is an essential job requirement
