This individual will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and detailed execution of Global Orthopaedics Supply Chain initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for providing technical and project management expertise in the areas of Business system integration. Coordination of systems between multiple platforms and IT systems including ERP, PLM, and Labeling systems
- Ensure effective Project Management of all key strategic projects –Partner closely with Finance to ensure Financial planning and tracking is in place for all projects.
- Lead initiatives effectively, timely, and on budget while minimizing any impact to base business, customer service and employee engagement.
- Manage demands across multiple projects relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality to satisfy outcomes.
- Build and deliver presentations to PMO/Management on project goals, plans, issues and risks, including progress reports, mitigation and contingency plans.
- Support project Change Management activities at each impacted site and function.
- Liaise with IT and IT Services departments to ensure adequate support is provided for existing technologies.
- Develop strategies for integration of IT systems.
- Strong problem-solving, design, communication and influencing skills, including the ability to drive adoption of new thinking and approaches
- Solid ability to collaborate successfully and establish effective relationships with project teams, IT colleagues, agency partners and technology vendors
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related field highly preferred; Advanced degree or equivalent experience such as a M.S. or MBA a plus
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- A minimum of 6 years of related experience required
- Project management experience required
- Working understanding of end-to-end product supply and distribution, and MRP/ERP systems
- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
- Experience in leading multi-functional teams
- Demonstrated understanding and expertise in bridging technical and business subject areas, evaluating and resolving appropriate risks required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem -solving skills are required
Other:
- Up to 25% of travel both domestically and internationally is required
- Lean manufacturing and six-sigma methodology experience preferred
- We are utilizing J&J flex work schedule for 3 days in the office and 2 remote days.
