DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Royalty Finance Specialist. The role could be based at any J&J campus throughout the East Coast.

Preferably work will be completed under EST hours.

The Royalty Finance Specialist, which currently supports DePuy Synthes and CSS and will be expanding to support Ethicon.

This role will support the end-to-end royalty process and is an integral part of the finance team, utilizing critical financial competencies.

Responsibilities Include :

• Implementation of new royalty agreements
• Completing payment cycles to ensure payments are made accurately and timely
• Complete quarter-end close duties (journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, etc)
• Implementation / monitoring of controls
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Maintain integrity of royalty calculation system such as testing, auditing and analytics
• Provide financial support, insights and analysis for the various aspects of the royalty process

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required
• Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Consumer goods or Public Accounting is preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years of financial accounting and analysis or related business experience is required.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with and influence internal and external business partners is required.
• Ability to frame / present information appropriately based on the audience (written / verbal) is required.
• Strong business acumen and analytical and problem-solving skills are required
• High proficiency in Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables is required.
• PowerPoint skills are preferred.
• Experience with TM1 and SAP is preferred.
• Ability to be an innovative problem solver, anticipate risks and opportunities, and autonomously strive for continuous improvements is required
• The role could be based at any J&J campus throughout the East Coast and may require up to 10% of travel.
• Work must be completed under EST hours.

The base pay range for this position is $49,350 - $79,695

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.

The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar / performance year.

Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
