In this position, the Financial Analyst will be a member of the Janssen Supply Chain Athens Finance Team and will report to the Finance Lead. We are located only a few miles for Downtown Athens and the University of Georgia campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning activities with your business partners (budgets, headcount, capital, etc.)
- Ad hoc requests for business partners and management
- Quarterly close activities under tight deadlines
- Analysis of planned vs actual activities (spending, manufacturing variances, etc.)
- Quarterly / Annual compliance reviews (physical inventory, fixed assets, etc.)
- Opportunities to work on projects and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance/Accounting
- Basic knowledge of cost accounting principles is required.
- Strong technical and analytical skills is required.
- Strong commitment to business ethics and credo values is required.
- A team player who enjoys new challenges and communicating / interacting with different stakeholders.
