The Lead, Data Operations will:
• Lead, operational and governance meetings including end-to-end, value capture, and third party reviews.
• Monitor and control the data operations and data quality process. May include coordination of testing, error handling, data conversion and/or validation, and audit/compliance actions (Non-Conformance (NC) and/or Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)). Monitor SLAs.
• Drive strategic direction with third party team(s). Coordination and management of third party knowledge transfer process.
• Function as Subject Matter Expert for end-to-end processes and systems.
• Provide appropriate guidance on data operations. May include completion of complex change assessments and/or project scoping requirements, point of escalation for both internal and external team members, single point of contact for strategic launches and audit/compliance activities, lead operational meetings with data owners.
• Continuous improvement of existing data design, process and templates by tactically focusing on business outcomes.
• Implement and monitor tools and processes that maximize data operations execution. Engage with stakeholders on tactical matters.
• Own documentation for area of responsibility. May include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), protocols, data quality catalogs, and other policy and procedure documents. Develop and deliver training to educate stakeholders on documented procedures, data flows, etc.
• Prepare metrics, dashboards, and tracking to facilitate the efficient operations of the Data Operations department.
• Support the deployment of the Data Operations Framework (Governance Maturity Roadmap).
• May include people leadership responsibilities including lead, develop, and retain talent through development, coaching, and engagement.
• Provide guidance, direction, development planning, and performance feedback.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required.
• A minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional business experience is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of data management experience in the context of large ERP platforms is required
• Supply chain experience is required, preferably in master data, operations, or cross-functional business environment.
• Global, regional and/or cross-sector/cross-industry experience is required
• Experience with SAP and/or JDE is preferred
• Experience working with Winshuttle is preferred.
• Business and/or technical knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain data elements, process, and organizational support models is required
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) products are required.
• Strong written, oral, and presentation skills are required
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills are required.
• Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, influence multiple stakeholders, and establish common goals and objectives without sacrificing outcomes is required.
• Ability to lead and influence teams is required
• Ability to work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist is required
• This position may require up to 5% of domestic and international travel.
