This position will provide maintenance support to manufacturing operations for Over-The-Counter (OTC) business consisting of processing, packaging and general plant operations. Candidate shall communicate and coordinate with site personnel regarding schedule and impact of the work being performed. This position is accountable for maintaining master data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). He/she will lead minor projects associated with manufacturing operations and be responsible for updating day-to-day metrics for the area. The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plan and working with the equipment owners and maintenance lead(s) to ensure the work is completed on time. This role develops detailed job task lists for preventative maintenance work, calibration and planned work orders.
This position is in Fort Washington, PA working Monday – Friday during dayshift hours.
- Updates and maintains all master data in the CMMS in support of the preventative maintenance program.
- Functions as a planner and scheduler for maintenance job tasks.
- Embraces a behavior of employee involvement and dedication to doing the job right the first time.
- Develops and issues required Metrics and Reports.
- Assists in development and loading of job tasks for calibrations, preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
- Is a power user in the CMMS (SAP-PM) system.
- Works with site support groups to develop and implement equipment information and PM's.
Qualifications
- This position requires an Associate degree with a minimum of three years of maintenance experience, or a high school diploma/GED equivalent and 7 years of manufacturing and/or maintenance experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a regulated and automated manufacturing environment (i.e. Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Consumer) required qualifications.
- Experience working a computerized maintenance management system (i.e. SAP, Maximo) is required.
- Candidates must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical/GMP manufacturing environment.
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
- Candidates need to meet the physical demand of that this position requires: continuous lifting and/or moving from 5 to 25lbs. weight material, and frequent lifting or moving average (25-50 lbs.) weight material.
