Joint Technology Solution, Inc. (JTS), a veteran owned government contracting company, is currently hiring staff to process Personal Effects at Dover Air Force Base.

We are currently seeking PART-TIME ON CALL Personal Effects Specialists to support, receive, safeguard, inventory, store, process, and make final disposition of personal effects of military and civilian casualties from overseas.

Tasks Include:

· Perform all tasks related to the receipt, safeguarding, inventory, storage, process, and shipping of personal effects

· Clean and launder personal items as appropriate and in preparation for shipping

· Provide digital photography for documentation of personal effects

· Receive and ship personal effects to the family members/next-of-kin of all military service members and others who are killed or severely injured worldwide

Qualifications:

· Prior experience providing high level of attention to detail in a multi-tasking environment

· Ability to remain calm during highly emotional or crisis situations

· Ability to work well with others in a military/contractor team environment

· Mature self-starter with compassion for members of the US Armed Forces and the families of those killed or severely injured

· Understanding that the amount of hours will change/reduce/increase based on the mission/operational environment

· Secret Clearance is required to start

· Prior experience with funeral/mortuary, military supply and logistics is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.66 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
