Daycare Assistant Director

Joliet KinderCare Learning Company located at 2605 Black Road Joliet IL 60435 has immediate hiring opportunities for a Childcare Assistant Director who is eager to unleash their potential and be part of our legacy-building team and here is what we want you to consider.

Duties:
- Assist in the daily functions of the center including and assist director with daily tasks.
- Maintain staff and child files.
- Assist in Training and hiring staff and conducting staff observations.
- Create a warm welcoming professional environment for families and staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized office.
- Assist teachers in creative solutions to classroom issues.

Shifts:

• 8 hour shifts and 4 hour shifts available
• Consistent, Monday through Friday from 630am-600pm, no nights, no weekends

Qualifiers:

Minimum requirements for Director Qualified per DCFS Licensing:

1) Sixty semester or 90 quarter hours of credit from an accredited college or university with 18 semester or 27 quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development from birth to age 6.

or

2) Two years (3120 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center, 30 semester or 45 quarter hours of college credits with 10 semester or 15 quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, and proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university until 2 years of college credit have been achieved. A total of 18 semester or 27 quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development is required to be obtained within the total 2 years of college credits;

or

3) Completion of a credentialing program approved in accordance with Appendix G of this Part, completion of 12 semester or 18 quarter hours in courses related to child care and/or child development from birth to age 6 at an accredited college or university, and 2 years (3120 clock hours) child development experience.
