Petroleum Service Technician

This position is responsible for completing fuel dispenser system service, repair & preventive maintenance work for retail/wholesale convenience store/filling station providers, regional airports, and commercial fleet locations, in Louisiana and the surrounding Gulf States. This position consists of multiple tasks to complete assignments under budget and to the Company’s time, safety, quality, and customer service standards. This position is also responsible for meeting the daily productivity objectives, completing required preventive maintenance, safe work practices, maintaining one’s personal hand tools, as well as the proper care, security, and tag-out of all Company vehicles, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies, in addition to abiding by all Company policies & procedures, and federal, state, local & industry work practices, rules & regulations. Service Technicians are also required to complete vendor training & certifications, to ensure efficient completion of service work to all codes and safety requirements. Service Technicians will be required to travel out of town and be on call on the weekends and after hours to complete service calls.

General Requirements: Good attendance/appearance & personal hygiene/oral & written communication skills; positive attitude; strong work ethic; ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time; works well with others; prepare accurate, timely & complete reports; complete tasks with minimal supervision. Proper usage, care, and maintenance of personal tools, Company tools & equipment and other company assets. Attention to detail; good electrical/mechanical and computer aptitude along with good communication/customer relations skills; an understanding of basic math skills; confidentiality; protection of company assets.
