IP Foreign Filing Specialist Position Summary:
-Assist attorneys with the management of foreign patent applications
-Communicate with clients and foreign associates regarding patent applications
-Prepare conversion deadline letters and cost estimates for clients
-Prepare PCT International Applications and process PCT Forms from WIPO
-Prepare National Applications and PCT National Phase Applications to be sent to foreign associates
-Monitor applications and report status to clients
-Prepare formality documents to be filed with Foreign Patent Offices
-Process Letters Patent documents and notify clients
-Monitor client patent renewal deadlines ensuring all are paid timely
-Work with the firm's computerized docket system and the docketing department to track, clear, and report on statutory deadlines, including responding to client, attorney, and docketing inquiries as to status

IP Foreign Filing Specialist Qualifications Summary:
-Minimum two years of IP foreign filing experience
-Thorough knowledge of PCT and foreign patent rules and procedures, including processes and procedures for interacting with clients and foreign law firms to advance foreign patent applications
-Experience researching IP status and history in PTO databases, including, WIPO Patentscope, the EPO Patent Register, Hague Express database, as well as public databases in other jurisdictions
-Experience with document management systems
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines

Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
