Prevailing Wage Compliance:
Monitor and interpret prevailing wage laws at the federal, state, and local levels.
Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements.
Maintain updated records of wage determinations, certified payroll reports, and related documentation.
Assist in the preparation of certified payroll reports and other compliance documents.
Respond to inquiries and requests for information regarding prevailing wage compliance.
IRA Compliance:
Stay abreast of IRS regulations and guidelines related to Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).
Assist in the administration of IRA programs, including eligibility determination, contributions, and distributions.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of IRA transactions and activities.
Collaborate with financial institutions and IRA custodians to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
Provide support during IRS audits or inquiries related to IRA compliance.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to prevailing wage and IRA compliance.
Generate regular compliance reports for management review.
Assist in the preparation of documents for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and financial institutions regarding compliance matters.
Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal departments to address compliance issues and implement best practices.
Provide guidance and training to staff members on prevailing wage and IRA compliance requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in prevailing wage and IRA compliance procedures.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compliance management.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (2 years) in administrative roles
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Familiarity with construction industry practices (preferred for prevailing wage compliance role).
